Introduction to the Smith Family Adventures
Traveling opens up a whole new world of experiences, and for the Smith family, it’s going to mean learning together. The players: Brian (50M), Stephanie (45F), and Decklan (11M) started traveling internationally in September 2026. This blog just talks about our experiences to share with friends and family.
The Program: Boundless Life
Everyone asks how we are able to do this. We found out about this program called Boundless Life. It is a whole package deal that include schooling for Decklan, housing for the whole family and a co-working space. It is very turnkey along with activities planned for both the children and the parents.
How We Work
Stephanie is owner/CEO of Cogwheel Marketing & Analytics. Brian also works for the company as the VP Admin. As most of the team is based in the United States, normal working hours are generally noon to 7ish PM depending on calls. We have a small desk in the apartment but are more often at the co-working space.
The Boundless Education
As parents, we believe emotional intelligence matters just as much as academics. This program is built Montessori style with a basis in Finnish education meaning each day is experiential and project based for the individual. It is designed with a focus on independence, nature learning cultural immersion and sustainability.
Immediate Community
The much added benefit to traveling abroad with Boundless is the immediate community. From day 1, you are meeting other families in the same situation. The WhatsApp group explodes immediately and you are bonding with parents while your child bonds with their kiddos. Mom’s and Dad’s (respectively) become immediate hits.
